DESIERTO III

How many of you have the Touratech Fairing DESIERTO III fitted on your bike and what is your opinion of it?

The reason I ask is I recently smashed mine in an accident I only had it a few months so didn’t really put it to the test doing any serious touring.

The insurance company have offered to replace it for me which is brilliant news but at £585 for silver and £562 for the black I am wondering whether to see if I can do a deal with them and get some cash back instead.

The one I had was silver, if I do replace it I’m going to go for the black anyone know why there is a price difference

No its not, everyone knows silver is thinner. Anyway TT recon the price difference is due to the process of turning expensive black plastic into even more expensive silver plastic.

As far as the rest goes judging by the replies looks like I may be the only tosser with one of these things.
