I'm guessing that one or two members of this fine establishment acquire their legally mandated road-going financial safety blanket from the aforementioned providing company, so I'm hoping for a little bit of information concerning a thought I have, to whit:

Do they still do multi-bike policies and are they worth the outlay?

I'm currently with Devitt/BMW for my Rockster insurance, but seeing as I'll be putting the 2nd Rockster on the road soon, I need to insure it, so pondering if I can just add it to the current policy and wondering what experience other members here may have had that would be relevant.

FWIW I'm an old-school rider where insurance is concerned: I only claim for total-loss / 3rd party caused events; I'm not going to claim for events caused by my own stupidity that don't affect anyone else. :)

Sadly, the BMW/Devitt arrangement ended during the year and some other firm is providing BMW-branded insurance.

Cheaper, it isn’t!

I had a policy under the old Devitt/BMW arrangement and it was a good deal for me for about the last 6 years but I’ve had to go elsewhere since they changed.

Funnily enough, tried the official BMW site last night as I’m changing bikes and the quote that came back was nearly 50% higher than elsewhere.

"BMW Motorrad Bike Insurance is arranged by Atlanta Insurance Intermediaries Limited"
Atlanta also own Swinton & Carole Nash and merged with Markerstudy.

The parent company is Ardonagh.

Not many players left in the market with all the consolidation and companies like MCE & Axa leaving the market in recent years.
