hi all. is there anywhere other than Sherlocks or ocean to get my 11GS serviced? i'm in Princetown and would welcome your advice.

If you don't want to use Ocean. Try CWs at Dorchester. A great bunch of guys, nothing is to much trouble.

This may be a bit late but Ireland's in Barnstable did the servicing for my 1100GS and various non-service jobs on my then new F800GS with their usual excellent service - they are a family business and know how to treat regular customers. Although they are Yamaha and Kawasaki dealers their mechanics are competent with BMW bikes (the local police use them for BMW work). I trust them to do a good job with my bikes.
And ... looking at the post immediately above mine ... I have got to say that Ocean BMW are also excellent. I have a number of new bikes from them over the years. They are friendly and interested in their customers without being pushy. The sales and customer service people ride the test bikes regularly and they discuss the good and 'less good' points of the range with passion and interest. Servicing prices are reasonable and customer care while waiting makes the wait far less arduous than it could be.
