Having just relocated to the East side of Dartmoor, and finally getting internet into the house, i was wondering if there was any interest in organising a local pub meet or ride out? There are some terrific pubs down this way so let me know if you're interested, weekdays, weeknights, weekends... which would you prefer?

Richard,

I have no interest in ride-outs but wouldn't mind an evening in a pub every now and then.

I would be interested. The occasional pub meet would be good and we have had some great rideouts over the last couple of years you could add to.

yep - interested. Just bought the GS1200 adv so keen to use it . Ride outs also. I also know Happy Pilgrim and Smiler of this of this parish for my sins who may be known to some of you!!:):thumb

Ok, there's loads of pubs i'd like to visit, but i work shifts, so i need to know what day of the week people would prefer to meet. My suggestions would be for a weekday evening or weekend lunch time. If we get a popular day for most people, i'll arrange it for the first time i'm not working and we'll see how it goes.

But do you have room for ten happy tossers to doss down if we have too much to drink? :beerjug: :D

Good point... no prob not... but I have the space for tents! Walking from the pub though is about an hour across the fields... in daylight and a brisk pace... 10 minutes by bike though.

Count me in. I'm up for a ride out. Might even be persuaded to join you for a drink....
