Devon Pub Meet Anyone?

Well, for this first meeting i'm going to take organisers privilege and go for my local...ish.
Meeting this Thursday evening at The Turf Inn, Exeter.
The pub's south of Exeter, just off the Dawlish Road. Take Station Road, off the Exminster roundabout, and ride down to the car park. At this point you'll have to take a short stroll down the canal bank to the pub. Alternatively, you can park your bikes at my place and take a walk down. The pub also does camping but you still can't park there. If you'd like to camp, drop your stuff at the pub and park your bikes at my place. I'm in Exminster, pm and i'll send my address. You'll need a torch for the walk back!
Make the most of this months pub choice as it closes for the winter season on 5th November. They do great beer and great food and, if all goes well, we can hit the Nobody, or maybe a pub over Woodbury way where there are some campsites too.
Weather's looking good, so hopefully we'll see a few bods turn up. See you @ 1800ish (to catch the last of the setting sun) folks.
If people would prefer Friday or a slightly later meeting time, let me know and i'll see if i can reschedule.

Looks like i may have posted the thursday meeting a bit too soon folks. Due to a change in my social calendar we're now on for this Friday. Sandy and i will be heading down the pub for some grub and a beer in the early evening. If you would like to leave your bikes and gear here, and stroll down with us, you're more than welcome. Just ensure you're here in good time, and let us know you're coming. If not, we'll see you at the pub if you can make it. :aidan

I can't make this one but I hope it works out and the meets become a regular feature for the South West :beerjug:

Can't make this one but is anybody going to see Austin Vince in Bovey Tracey in a couple of weeks? Gotta be worth a fiver :)

If you're new to the area, the Double locks is a much better drinking pub, excellent for kids and camping and lots more besides.

The turf is much quieter and 'boaty', the double is family, biker and kids - a very lively place of a summer evening.

Camping available to bikies from all over the place - well recommended. ( or it was )

Thanks for the nod towards Double locks, they do fantastic fish and chips down there. However, I was going to arrange Double Locks for another time as this is the last month the Turf's open this year, we're going down for munchies and beer, and it's a great place to go when the sun's out.
In fact, for those that can't make it this month, let's go for the Double Locks on Friday 19th November around 1900ish.

Working away means I wont be able to make this one unfortunately.

Given tonights forecast, there'll be no meeting tonight, unless some hardy souls express an interest in turning up:augie. I'll kick off with another meeting date next year, due to it being the christmas do next month.
