Diary / scheduler app advice

I have finally dragged mysely into this century and now have a smart phone (Galaxy S3 mini). I have previously used a Palm Tungsten as my diary - backed up on the PC.

Can anyone recommend a simple diary / scheduler app that I could put on the android and on my PC and sinc easily. I have had a look at the Google diary - but I really don't trust Google with all my info.

Any advice appreciated - thanks.

I run my business through Google Apps and my Gmail Calendar, it gives you the ability to share it out publicly as well and to keep events private if needed.

Works really well on mobiles, and syncs fine with Mac's / Windows / iOS / Android etc.

Could not do without it myself

Another one for Google Calendar here.......very easy to use and you don''t HAVE to put your own name in.

If I was a top 100 FTSE company with new technology in my portfolio, I might worry about the info, but I doubt Google will ever be the slightest bit interested in "WEDS 10am...get worming tablets for the dogs"


Very handy that you can access anywhere and share/collaborate on different calendars and documents
