Last week the technical gurus helped me isolate a problem to a faulty ignition trigger unit which I duly ordered from Motobins.

The original unit had 5 wires fed to the connector (red, orange, black, brown, grey) and a number 0 232 101 034 stamped onto the plate. The new one I have has only 4 wires fed to the connector (red, 2 X green, black). In addition, there is a plastic block half way up the cable (which looks like it should fit into a mounting bracket). The plate has the number 0 232 101 093

I assume that Motobins have sent the wrong one and will call them on Monday - my question is why the difference? Is the new one for a newer model?

Cheers

They changed during the 1150 life - Still the same thing and will fit and run no problem
