Different ages of the Zed

I was having a sort out in the shed and put the two Zeds together in the garden for the first time. They look good on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

The '78 Z1000 A2 was a recent rebuild project. I'm currently tinkering with it so its out of commission whilst I shim the valves and set up the carbs a little better.

My Z900 RS is a recent aquistion, bought in May after lusting for one for a few years. Goes well and suits me better than the Beemer R9T I traded in for it.

Very nice,I loved my Z1000ST which I had new.. ....my first visit to the Isle of Man in 1979 was on that bike,as usual I regret selling it but in those days it was the only way I could afford another bike,even then the shaft drive version of the Zed was quite rare

Very nice; that 1000 is the same model that Ian Mcshane made his get away on ; can't remember the name of the film but the bike get away was the highlight;; my Z1B died in a phone box one night 46 yrs ago;
Just had a shuffty and it's Sewers of Gold;
