Digger Seats - Thoroughly Recommended... by Me!

Nice seats.. Interesting that this post opened with the line.. "my OEM seat is uncomfy" !! Over how long a journey ? as I am about to pick up my first 1200GS on Tuesday and I am coming from a sports tourer bike.. and am expecting the GS to be an improvement over the current bike.

It used to depend on several factors such as road type. If it was motorways with little movement my poor botty could start giving me ggip after as little as 50miles, A roads a little further but it also depended on stupid things like how relaxed I was, had I had a good nights sleep, morning, afternoon or evening and even the type of weather! likewise (and strange as it might sound) whether I was riding on my own or with a group.

What ever the situation I would rarely go on a long run over a hundred mile and not have a problem.

So, has Digger solved this problem? Not entirely but I would say there is a vast improvement over the OEM seat and TBH I like the overall look of the seat now too. Very distintive.

How are you getting on with yours Buz???

Last weekend i rode to the STD, only 116 miles but it was a lot more comfortable than the original low seat. As you say it hasnt eradicated all the discomfort but is definitely a lot more comfortable than the old one. He did both seats for £135, putting in new foam, rehsaping etc. It also looks a lot better than the original :)
