I have an idea now that I have finished escargot, to fit something like an IMO 100 digital dash and the accompanying idiot lamp pod

(And some "stuff"that I have sequestered away :) ) are they still for sale anywhere?

I haven't seen them anywhere so far ??

Any links or offers

OR what is The newer stuff ??

Acewell or Koso are your best bet. There used to be a supplier called “digital dashboards” or some such but their website has gone now. Here’s what I used for my airhead build: https://acewell.co.uk/Acewell Speedometers/ACE-6xxx/ACE-6456.htm?action=full&id=222

You can get the wired sensors (oil temp, air temp etc) and a GPS speed sensor, or an induction sensor for the front wheel to plumb in, and they are pretty robust bits of kit.

Or alternatively you can get modular units that do speed, temps, rpm etc That’s what I’ll be using on the KTM 640, with my DMD nav pad as the main speedo and phone above it running RallyBlitz or similar.

The world’s your lobster as they say

I second Acewell.
I have a CA85 on my R80GS which is in keeping with the original rev counter and has basic digital functionality.
I have just fitted an MA85 on my R80ST, ditching the entire oem twin instrument setup for a single, multifunction speedo/rev counter.
Both of these Acewell speedos work out of the box with the BMW rev counter feed wire. The ACE-S11 speed sensor replaces the oem speedo cable and means you don't have to mess about with HALL/REED/MAGNET shenanigans.
I connected the MA85 idiot lights successfully and so far, so very good.

These aren't rally dashboards, though.

Picture is the MA85 on my ST

We have a couple IMO100R that are part of our rally kits and not for sale.
Toby at Sloth Racing is the person to ask as he repairs them and has them for sale some times.
Also try looking for KTM 640 Tripmasters as they are IMO 100R's or any of the early KTM ADV model dashes as they might suit.
Alternatives are ICO VRL which is wheel driven or the GPS enabled Rallye CAP
How about an older Garmin GPs from the early 2000's, they had a dash view option in them and would look a bit period. I'll see what I have in the spares department, I'm sure that I have GPS II and a GPS 12X here somewhere.
Do we have pictures of your project
