In a Remote area apparently.
Hi peeps, any one on here live anywhere near Inveraray and could put up a Fat tosser for a couple of nights sometime in the first two weeks of next month.? Obviously some beer tokens would be exchanged for a dry shed to lay my head down lol. Im thinking of doing a two day off road course at MotoScotland but before i book anything id like to sort out some digs. Cheers, Derek.:D

There is a good campsite just outside The village. Take your tent with you like real bikers do lol.

There is also a hostel a short walk from the town, used to be part of the SYHA but now independent.

Yup ive found that, just waiting too hear from MotoScotland re availability of course. Unfortunately i have a condition that stops me breathing while i sleep so need access to 240v otherwise id camp..............like a "real" biker.

There's the George Hotel ( good pub food) some other hotels and the busy Loch Fyne spa hotel. Dunno how much they cost though.. There must be a few B&b's in town?

The Argyll Hotel is used for old folks bus tours - we have used it for clearance trips - folks don't turn up for the bus trips and they clear the rooms - keep an eye on late rooms etc. We have had pretty cheap B and B deals and it has been fine. George fantastic for beer and (not that cheap) grub. Remember your Avon Skin So Soft!

I think a double room at The George is about £80, but Mrs R loves the place, so we aim for there. Good food and drink too.

i'm booked

Delboy777,

I've booked my training and my hotel. I got the Argyll Hotel in the village for £45 per night inc Break fast, just say you're training with Motoscotland and they give you best price they can.

My training is in Oct

Cheers:bounce1

I stayed in the Killean Farmhouse B&B when I was up at MotoScotland. Relatively cheap but a wee bit out of Inveraray.

The Moto Scotland set up is really good. Clive, the main instructor is passionate about what he does. Beautiful countryside offering different challenges.

Definitely recommended.:)

The George is good for an evening meal and a reasonable pint.

Is being fat considered a 'condition'

Perhaps your poor body has just had enough and wants you dead

Yeah yeah, same old same old and sooo predictable. Why dont you spend your time in a better endeavor......................like looking for a personality for instance. You must have lost yours when you had your last frontal lobotomy.:comfort:pullface
