Dilema! Keep 1150GSA or buy 1200GSA???

Alternatively, if we didn't have an inferiority complex......we wouldn't be feeling smug! It's all just perception at the end of the day mate! :jager

Hope you enjoyed your trolling run into the 1200 section - feel free to come back anytime the smell of piss gets too strong in the 1150 section :P

When are you 1150 owners going to get over your inferiority complex ;)

I suspect we ain't seen nothing yet, just wait until all the 1200 riders get all holier than thou with the water cooled boxer brigade once they go on sale.

I just don't get some of the 1150 owners?

They are like little kids who need their Mom's to constantly tell them how good their Bike's are.

The Trolling has gotten old, how about keeping it the Pub section.

Got to agree what is the point of this thread can it be moved to a more appropriate section :nenau

Nah, I'm not that attached to it - I like lighter, faster, better handling etc. which is why I own a 1200 and not an 1150 :augie

It's only the typically Yorkshire tightness which'll prevent me buying a Wasserboxer next year - I'll save a few grand and buy a pre-registered Twincam instead if I stick with GS's

Insecurity

As this was never a serrious thread but a rather poor attempt at Trolling suggest that further replies may be better directed here:

I hope you feel better about yourself now that you have had the chance to vent your views on what you deem as someone with insecurities. The point that you have never met me, have never had contact with me on here, and that you are writing your comments from the safety of your home is an obvious indication that you feel safe enough to slate someone in the knowledge that you won't get a black eye for it.

You probably feel quite clever, think you're a bit of a bully, and in fact have a Superiority (read Insecurity) complex, in the way you have to tell everyone that you are better than them (of course, from the safety zone of your keyboard).

So if this is what makes you smile each day, then please do continue. I'd be really worried about you, apart from feeling a little bit sorry for you. It's a shame that in the barrel of GS owning apples, you seem to be the one with the most bruises......

Oh, and before you retort about having bigger balls, yes, I know you do. They're hanging in your eyes.

You come in the 1200 section to troll and get called on it. So your going hit some-one. :tears :pullface

I'm a user of this website, not someone looking to be an elitist because of the bike I ride is newer and therefore only myself and others with a newer bike may use this section.

The reason I used this section is to try to get some gainful insight and perhaps find justification in changing bikes. When there is that much money involved, it's not something you should just do on a whim. Therefore, I utilised this website, and indeed this section, to look for a good reason to go for it. Like most normal people who use this website would do.

You can't ask someone in the 1150 section about their 1200-dumbass colonial.

Slow and Ponderous

If you are happy with the 1150 and can't tell the difference, stick with the old girl.

When I ride an 1150 it seems slow and ponderous compared with my 1200 but if I had to have another 1150 for any reason, it wouldn't bother me at all.

Both cracking bikes:thumb

Slow and ponderous:D

A bit like you then:thumb
