Dimensions

Can anyone help me with with a couple of dimensions of a new GS - just ordered one and need to work out if I need to modify my gateway to get it in!

What I'm after is the height from ground to the bottom of the handlebars (to see if they'll go over the gateposts.

Also need the width of the lower part of the bike, I.E. cylinderhead to cylinderhead.

Just measured with the Bike on centre stand to bottom of handguards,it's 45", will be lower with suspension compressed, probably another 2-3".

Width of engine without plastic headguards.......31" give or take a few mm or am I mixing me metaphors here

Rough guide to gate squeezing.........I feel a book coming on

CC - I thought you ran alloy wheels on yours?
They're smaller aren't they - therefore overall height not accurate!!
