Would anybody please, who might find them self at a loose end and are bored out of their scull on this fine and sunny afternoon, be kind enough to measure the 1200/1250 GSA left hand (as you sit on the bike) side pannier frame for me, as pictured bellow. The measurement needs to be between the bars, rather than overall. A tube diameter size would be handy to have too. Thank you kindly.

I am looking to buy a Chinese tool box, to go on a Givi frames, but tool box showing mounted to a GSA frames. Just want to make sure that I wouldn't be wasting my hard earned...

The BMW racks is

312mm between bars

18mm diameter

I have a Chinese box (exactly the same as a Touratech one)... absolutely no issues, though I did replace the nuts and bolts for marine grade ones I had.

Yep that worked and is the same design as what I have (same as the Touratech)

Still going strong over a year later and I ride pretty much all year round
Perfect. £34 including taxes, is darn right cheaper than the "official" Touratech item.

Like I said I had some marine grade nuts and bolts laying around sonI replaced the originals as the ones supplied will rust so just be aware of that!

Living in Pompei, marine grade nuts & bolts, must be scattered all over the place...

Same here, a Chinese cheapo. Very pleased with it, well made yet inexpensive.

I fitted a genuine Touratech TFT anti-theft surround. It is dogshit IMO, badly made and very overpriced tat. Even the logo decal is on the piss, it looks like a factory back door second.
