So I've got a single pin Din that fits into the BMW accessory sockets on the 1150. Question is can a charge the battery through this socket without causing issue to the alarm ?
Or for that matter will it charge the battery or am I better going straight onto the battery terminals ?
Thanks for any pointers :D

Shove it straight in and let her enjoy.....the delights of slow trickle charge.:beerjug:

I charge mine via the DIN socket. I don`t have an alarm (thank god), but I can`t see that being a problem if you have.

I keep mine plugged in to optimate via socket. The bike has alarm and no problems in 9 years.

Cheers. I've plugged my cheapo streetwise trickle in through the Din, its showing half battery charge so I guess if it shows full tomorrow all is good. Save me buying a battery connection. :thumb2
