din plug or usb

Thinking of changing the DIN socket on the front fairing to USB sockets rather than having to replace lost adapters and such.
Has anyone already done this with their bike. or does anyone have a link to anything that is genuinely water resistant to at least IP65, obviously it'll more than likely be made in China, but if it's of decent quality, tried and tested etc... Google search just throws up mostly random Chinese shite that my dog wouldn't pee on.
I did look at the offering on Nippy Normans site. But £60 is a bit of a mickey take.

I'd keep the DIN socket. Cheap USB chargers tend to have a limited life as they run hot. I run a lead from my 12V socket on the RS into my tank bag. This has a 12V pass through and USB. I have a pair of usb sockets wired up via an autoswitch/relay. About a fiver off eBay, and I already had the autoswitch and relay wired in. They were originally there to run some spotlights, but I changed those to be switched with the full beam so they were redundant and available to connect to.

I've used these on a few bikes:

Got one on the GS mounted inside the beak to one side behind the headlights. It's waterproof with the cap fitted and, as mounted, well protected from the weather when something's plugged in (when the cap is off). Wired to a switched live but the cap triggers a magnetic switch which turns the USB power off when the cap is fitted. It's not the cheapest option out there but I can recommend it.

I have a pair of these on my 1150. One in the dash in fill panel and another powering my top box. Never had a problem with water ingress.
