Something extremely wrong there, all those advertised machines are worth more broken up for parts than the advertised price. The vendors would have to be mad to sell at such low prices, therefore there is something very dubious.

SCAM's mate...... have a looksee, they will insist a deposit to "secure" the bike before they would allow you to see or test the bike.
Pay the deposit and then they block your number..... deposit gone. Might as well buy a case of beers and sit on the loo.... at least you will have the satisfaction of pissing your own money away!
Lots of chaps in SA got nailed..... if it sound too good to be true... it normally is - beware!

They are all in different areas,with different phone numbers,ive rung three different ones and to no avail.
It does say these are privacy numbers which hide the advertisers real numbers, and the paper makes a small commission for there use.
but only if the call connects, but what do they mean by connects, ie if it rings or they actually get a person on the line.
Sounds like a cash cow to me.ill let you know when the phone bill arrives,also funny theres no reply to the email i sent, but it is sunday i s'pose.

Classic scam....
They ask you to pay a deposit ( around 500 ) and tell you that someone will pick up the bike from a container ( as they are moving away or as they just relocated from an other Country ) and will bring it to your address, or that you can go to the container at the port and pick it up.
Both cases you will never see the bike....

i just got this email reply.....hmm
Hi, the bike is still for sale and as you can see on the pictures it is in a very good state. It was used only by me and I took care personally of it, I washed it meticulously after every ride and I changed the oil periodically. It`s HPI clear and will come with a full up to date Service History, Owner’s Manual, Log book and with two sets of keys. By the way, it is now stored in Scotland with a shipping company and if you were to buy it, an agent would have to deliver it at your location.

Email him back and tell him that your funds are tied up in a long notice account but if he could send you £30 pounds to cover the interest penalty, you will buy the bike. I read of a case where a guy got money out of a Nigerian scammer using a similar argument.

If you find something wrong with my bike, the shipping company will give you a full refund and I will have to cover all the expenses involved in the transaction. It is in my interest to sell you a functional bike.

See that these ads use a telephone number starting with 070. Beware that 070 numbers are often used in scams( google for 0704 scam) as calling that number will forward your call. Check this from Met Police(near bottom of page):
