Trying to sort out call of duty issues so disabled sound via control panel but now have no idea about how to get any sound back?

Easy when you know how 
You don't say which Operating system you are using, but is not just "Control Panel" > "sounds & Audio" > "device volume"?

I had previously disabled the sound system but couldn't find a way to re-enable it back as all icons had gone. Finally did it via control panel/sound and right-clicked on box and hey presto
