. The other designs look a bit too big for the bike.

Well I tried my horn the other day and the magnum was a dull neerrrrr! sounds rather than the "ear splitting" ( account by Blue Bell Crewe bike tech who stupidly pressed the button whilst looking under the beak :D ) sound I was used too.

So whipped it off fairly sure water had got in.. and yepp.. turned it a few times along the line of the spiral and out came alot of water. Stuck some tissue paper in it and left it to dry out. Refitted and its back to its ear damaging self.

So if your horn isnt new, try turning it along the sprial axis.. otherwise if its brand new take it back and get another, might just be a dodgey one sadly.

You dont need to 'whip it off' every time it rains if you simply drill a couple of holes in the lowest part of the (plastic) trumpet section :thumb

Which Fiamm is that?

And any hints on how you attached it?

Can`t remember,mate......one that`s not too big :D
If yer can`t find actual Fiamms, any of 'smaller brands' are still fecking loud.

Ok...you asked for hints.....(with reference to my earlier post and photo)....

The hollow headstock casting/inside/with the compressor.......photo/my/look at/see/you will/brackets/one of the/

Come on......surely you really don`t need to be told how to attach a set of airhorns ???

Fair enough. I was just wondering about if you screwed through the beak, or attached a bracket to something, or what. And what you atached the compressor to.

:D :D

Horn trumpet brackets are on the beak mounting screws.

Compressor bracket is on original horn mounting point.

Quarter of an hour job. :thumb
