Disappointing upgrade

Just returned from a blap down to Sardinia. I bought a Sena 30K to upgrade from my Sena 20s Evo. But one day into the trip the left speaker dropped. Then after that it was intermittent. On day one i rode through a couple of showers. I know the Sena isnt, unlike the Cardo, waterproof, claiming only water resistant.
Once in Sardinia i had a week off the bike. The Sena was left alone. So Im doubting it was water ingress. Now convinced its a loose connection somewhere.
Could it still be wet after a week in the dry. And I did stick a hotel dryer on it for a while too.... Bit gutted.

Yes,I phoned the supplier whilst in Sardinia and sent it back. Im hoping its not water damaged. So seeing if anyone else have had a similar problem. Im also hoping they send me out another new unit as id returned it within 30 days.
