Hi Guys,
Posting this on here in the hope someone can assist. Bought myself an 1150Gs a month or so ago and having great fun with it however.......My trusty Thundercat is up for sale and just when I get a bit of interest guess what, the bl**dy alarm will not disarm....bike battery is fine (even had it on overnight charge incase)....alarm fob batteries replaced......seems to be in sleep mode....only immobilised....alarm does not sound but bike will not start....the little 'telltale' light flashes slowly with ignition off and is steady on when ignition is on....any suggestions? thanks

Good question....think its a M357T,,,have got some operating instructions off net...their way of disarming 'sleep mode' doesn't work.....have found my secure pin number for it and am just about to give it a go but its not the easiest way....trying to count the number of flashes and switching ignition on and ff....jumping from front end to back end.....will come back to you in a few mins

pin reset didn't work

so will leave it for 30 mins and try again....trouble is....even if i get it to disarm....as soon as I switch ignition off again (after running for a while) it will reset and i'll probably be back to square 1 again...ho hum....innit great eh?

Cascat, if mine (357T) has gone into sleep mode I have to switch on the ignition and try to start the bike. Then switch off and use the alarm button again to set the alarm, then again to unset it. I have had one 357T go completely dead but in that case the LED wasn't flashing.

If mine is in sleep mode (I have a Meta 357) I just switch on the ignition and press the disarm button, et voila it disarms. Trying to disarm with the sequance of lights is impossible! I have am instruction sheet I can post you if you need it?

Ditto dave1100 - just turn on the ignition then press the button on the fob to disarm. Works for me.

Partial success

Well re-did the pin reset in the dark, hooray..bleeps, disarms and bike starts....hhmm..stop bike...doesn't rearm..i mean bleep or anything..go to start...immobilised again....just tried disarming 'sleep mode' with ignition on...nothing....have had a word with meta who reckon on board battery for alarm/immobilisor is discharged....say a good run out should sort it....so tried disarming again using pin....what a ****ing pain....no go so far....just hoping that once i get it disarmed again and take it for 40-50 mile spin it should be ok....
