Discount/deals??

Hi,

I am in the early stages of buying a new bike. I have narrowed it down to a F800GS. Just need to book a test ride.

My question is do BMW offer discounts or deals on new bikes or is the price you see the price you pay? I have not asked at the dealership as I wanted to save the embarrasment!!

No they don't. what they do do though is throw in extras. but it seems only at the 'slack' end of the year... the rest of the time they don't need to as they can't make the bikes fast enough.

No harm in asking though.. North Notts - try Rainbow for the test ride and then look unsure with mucho umming and ahhing. see what they can come up with.

Don't just accept the price-there is always room for a deal,if your not trading in or looking for finance and have cash then tell them and haggle,I got a great deal on my GSA,use your nogin and go midweek on a rainy day when they're empty and don't be affraid to upset the sales man with a cheeky offer,he's not your buddy,just remember he needs you and your sale to pay the morgage-you just want a new toy,oh and make sure you get the first service thrown in because unlike all the others bmw charge!

I popped into Rainbow, I think the other nearest dealer is Nottingham.

Just need to book a test ride and take it from there. Cheers
