Great report and food for thought. I always go to Normandy to do advanced motorcycle training, basing myself in Carentan, but often wondered if a trip like yours would benefite the clients I take, instead of being based in one place. Are the roads good training roads for the majority of riders and can it be done in 5 days.

Simple answer to your first question, 'Yes'
2nd question, I guess it depends on your clients, as to progress being made and stamina to do a couple of long days in the saddle. But, in essence, 'Yes'

(ps. I've had an Advance ticket for 20+ years, and some of the roads in the region are the best I've ridden)

brings back memories of riding that region around 6 year ago. Note to self.... I must return.

Orador is emotional, and the visitor center is definitely worth an investment in time.

Stunning pics of the Auvergne...............did that a few years ago, with an old girlfriend.............nice memories of her and the riding
