Dismantle single female spade connector

I would like to remove the black hard plastic cover from the female single spade connector for access to clean the metal surfaces. For example the connector from the diode board to the alternator. I’ve got a connector key set which works on all the block connectors so far but getting nowhere with this type. Ive slit one open and can see that the spade is retained by two little ramps in the plastic body but there seems no way to get a key between the ramp and the female spade tubes that they retain. Anyone had success or are they simply not possible to dismantle without damage?

The big block with all three spades in it ??

Its preformed If its bothering you Just make up 3 fly leads with the big spade terminals on them

Use good quality multistrand copper wire and go up a cross section

Also do the red cable between the starter positive to the side of the diode board

Like many of these situations solved by going away and coming back with fresh ideas a day later. You don’t use a connector tool on these just push the metal female spade out of the front of the plastic holder after manoeuvring it over the holder front lip with a small screwdriver. Using a tool and pulling out backwards like on most connectors is just a head fake !
