Hi all,

I'll be donning me tweeds and mounting me steed (1978 R100) for this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride which is a Global campaign to combat prostate cancer. Please help researchers crack this nut, so to speak, by sponsoring my ride via the link below. Remember: small donations have a habit of multiplying into something big!

Or you can participate directly by registering yourself..

I'm actually doing the ride out from Taunton, anyone else taking part next Sunday??

I went on the London ride last year but I no longer have a bike that is worthy of such a jaunt so sadly won't be going. Here's a great pic from those 'Pipeburn' chaps though! Have a good day...chin chin! :beerjug:

I hate too say this but the nut has largely been cracked, the problem is the company who produce the drug want an extortionate amount of cash to treat people ,even though most of the r and d was funded through cancer research charity's .Ride your bike and enjoy your day out but fuck them greedy fuckers!!!

Cancer has been cured?

There are now early onset drugs which will reduce or eliminate the need for chemo ,nice will not fund them
Due the extortionate price the pharmersutical company's charge, the prostate drug was developed with public money
It then goes on the pharmersutical too bring too market. Sorry it's a bloody disgrace .
