Hi all

thought I would share a project I just finished for the house

was looking around for ages for some type of multiroom audio system, and there are many. Some pricey, some not so pricey

now I know this type of setup doesnt provide seperate audio in each room/zone.. but it does allow you to play music in different rooms.. and selectively turn other rooms off

but I wanted to use my PC cause thats where all my music is..

so I put this together and it works perfectly, so maybe somebody else can make use of it too....

from the PC a basic 3.5 mm audio connector goes to a PC amp (max 200W)

then connect the AMP to a Radioshack 4 Way Speaker Selector Switch Box

the buttons on the front will be your rooms/zones which you can label

the run some audio cable to various speakers..

I started with the bathroom, cause we all love a warble in the shower, and its great for when you are getting ready to head out..
