ps Oil cooler looks OK

He means , stick a few comma's in.. or indeed full stops :D
Right on the money Bryn. To the OP, the subjects you post are generally pertinent and interesting, but can at times be difficult to decipher through lack of punctuation. Help to make them readable and everyone wins. Also, Lol?:blast In the vacuum of space no one can hear you scream - let alone Lol. Save Lol for texting 2UR M8.:thumb

Call me old fashioned, but it looks like you just restricted air-flow through the oil cooler by at least two thirds?

Yup, I agree with Mr K there more metal than gaps in your piece of metal.

The SS grill looks like it was made from the fish fryer out of the local chippie.
Looks OK but as others have said it might be a little too restrictive when it comes to letting the air through.
Try it, if it works then great. :thumby:

If you correct other people at least make sure your post is correct. ;)
I wasn't intending a master class in pedantry, just trying to be helpful. Anyway well done you for spotting a missed capital.:bow

Again, not sticking my neck out, just trying to be helpful. Prose is hard to read if it consists of a single sentence which ignores natural pauses. Just saying like.

B&Q sell stainless meshing for drains. Looked perfect for oil cooler protection. About £6* a sheet. Made one for my 1150, had enough left to make two more for customers bikes :D.

*this was back in 2005ish, so maybe a little more now.

Once again, I wasn't criticising, just saying how much easier it is to read when you give some though to the text - much as you have done above.:clap

I paid about that for the woven mesh and rubber trim.
