As for wind-up merchants, I used to be, grew out of it.
I was the best though...The very best....Ask me how I know, one day I may tell you if I am feeling benevolent or need to explain myself after the death of one or two members.;)

I am over here because the Buell forum became too boring, not enough going on and the self imposed censorship was becoming too much....I was not able to be myself anymore, seems over here you at least have a rant section and an anything goes section....I would not dare to suggest such things over at UKBEG......The old school would not hear of it.
I did suggest a rant section on another board that I am on and they installed it immediately:cool:

Not slagging off UKBEG, but the tuber Vs the framer debate was very old and didn`t seem to go away any:(

I may even consider the purchase of a N.S. Bike :eek:

I could wind - up here, like taking candy from a baby:)

Truthfully the place became same old, same old........I never believed it when the framer guys said they were put off from posting because of the sarcasm from the tuber guys. I decided to buy a framer to go with my tuber.......I now fully understand what these guys are talking about, the website is about a motorcycle, the motorcycle being Buell, the passion, the feeling of well being all derived from your choice of wheels...Then some ignorant bastard comes along and disrespects you and your wheels just because you don`t have a tuber framed Buell. Infantile at best, .....I can`t think of a worst, my life is too short to contemplate it......Suffice too say it is just sooooooooooooo boringgggggggggg.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Why should someone convince you to buy anyhting or do anything? It's a free-ish country! You can make a choice and once you've made it. Great! Be happy with that choice or make other choices which make you happier. Life is full of opertunity for people who a brave enough to get amongst it.

Are you brave enough?

Lots of people have chosen objects to own for different reasons without having to be convinced to do so. Objects such as fine art have been inspired from nature or simple things, property and clothes have attracted others. Some like the art for itself while others aspire to the image/ quality. While some make it a life style choice for others it's a logical choice to enable them do something else they enjoy.

If you need to ask if your making the right choice it seems to me your making a decision for the wrong reasons. So I would say stick with one of the other 3or so bikes you own already as they also don't seem to make you happy either and I can't see that's going to change by owning a BM in any shape or denomination.

So I'll close by saying "I still don't get it?"
