Do I need a Nazi Staff bike????

Shit......I have many freinds from over there:cool: :beerjug:
Not according to them, unless you did mean freinds.

There are some very good wind-ups on here,

but you're different.

:troll1 Give him his £12.50 back.

Offence caused

".....Nazi Staff bike.." You are right, this sort of remark does cause offence particularly out here where the Gestapo headquarters in Lyon is now a mueum to the resistance and those who were deprted to Nazi Germany.
I am sure it was just an offhand remark ...but an apology would be in order.

So the Buell forum was same-old, same-old with people getting upset about what others posted and having a go at each other because they rode different generations of essentially the same bike?

Ye may feck away off somewhere else then

You'll be waiting, and if there is one forthcoming, I'd take it with a grain
of salt.
The sooner tw--- gets kicked off the forum the better.:spitfire

I would like to know why I should buy a BMW motorcycle, just seems no one has stepped up to the task.

Hmm........ guess I should have read this entire thread before posting my previous light hearted riposte, but after trawling through through ATTs puerile drivel, I feel qualified to provide an answer.

The reason that we buy and ride GS motorcycles is because we we have minds of our own and dodn't need to ask "what bike should I buy"? We enjoy riding bikes of any kind and we also enjoy the camaraderie that is so evident on this site. I also believe that we are all bikers no matter whether we ride a BMW, a Buell or a Puegeot 50cc step-through scooter thingy.

I just don't understand the emptiness that some people have in their lives that drives them to deliberately wind-up or generally take the p*ss out of a lifestyle that brings together and is enjoyed by a group of otherwise socially diverse people whose paths would never have crossed.

Wot he said :thumb2

The best response to drivel is no response at all ;)

Get a grip ... I work with a load of Germans and French and they are a lot less pompous about this than you. It happened 60 years go. It will still happen the next time something kicks off - see Rwanda, see the Balkans. Humans are cruel, tribal and vicious.
I'm not condoning the Nazi movement but for you to get upset about it seems an over-reation.

Besides which , BMW/ forerunner did have a healthy relationship with the Nazi Party ... so the quote is entirely untrue !

Well said:thumb For my part, I'm now going to resist any further temptation to respond to this extremely sad individual. Looking at his profile he claims to be an entrepreneur, he can't even spell it correctly, more to be pitied than laughed at I guess.

I have had my Gs for 2 weeks only now, to be honest when I was considering the purchase of a Gs then I too thought...what makes me want to buy this bike....it's not exactly fast, it's not the best looking bike out there, it's not exactly light weight, it is not the most powerful bike out there.

& these were the very reasons why I actually bought it....Am I happy with it...Yes, it feels right for me,but for sure I would not have had one of these bikes if I was 20 years younger & my back was not shagged, I mean with a bike as ugly as the Gs ...let face it...it is hardly a 'babe magnet' is it.

As someone stated earlier ' it does not matter what bike you ride'....well yep okay...just as long as it is not a Harley.

kindest of regards

Daze

I am no troll..I feel I have explained that adequately enough.

I will not be-little or chastise the responder in any way shape or form, I would just like a little background info .

since when has being an entrepreneur, required you to be an accurate speller?

i thought it just needed luck, money and guts, maybe not in that order :D

I guess I am looking for inspiration, acknowledgement of some sort that a Nazi Staff bike is the way forward.
I have several bikes that serve my needs, one of those being an Aprilia Crappynerd, another being the Honda Pan Europenis...I won`t mention the new Buell STT:D ....It puts big grin on ones face.........
So, I have heard the BMW with Remus kit on it...Still sounds like a squashed fart to me.......It looks horrible, it is expensive but residuales are good.
Why would I want to buy one???

I won't even try to be a smart ass, I'll leave that you but simply say you've already had your answer; ride one and make your own mind up. I mean, it's not exactly a hidden secret is it?

It's funny I considered a Buell. After seeing one nearly shake its petrol tank off, on tickover, at the side of the road in Colne. I thought 'WTF is that' and did some homework and finally decided that whilst it might be fun, it wasn't for me.

You might be offensive but your obviously not stupid so it makes me wonder why you need our help?

Hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks Robbie, those pictures are inspirational:)
Don`t think the Capo would be too hot for that sort of thing, I suppose the GS`s are easy to pick up once dropped with the weight being low down?
And any damage minimal with the engine taking the brunt of the impact.

Starting to make sense a little now.

Oh yeah, the Irish guy from Cork......Your name escapes me for the moment, why do you want me banned from the site, what is it that worries you?

And to everyone else, I always do my research before a purchase, I never just buy anything, that would be silly, a waste of my time and money.

Cheers so far guys......Apart from the Corkish guy.
