Do I need a Nazi Staff bike????

Thanks for all the great replies.
I am going to have a demo ride of the GS1200 and see what the fuss is all about.
You understand now, it is not the bike that has enabled me to make this decision, it is the input and the oddity value of the members from here:D
Meant in a nice way by the way.....If you weird lot ride the buggers, then maybe, just maybe I have a calling in life and that calling may well be a BMW motorcycle.....Nah bollox, still a Nazi Staff bike.:thumb

Ahh bolox. Does that mean you're not going away?

Serious point... Buells are 'different'. Gses are 'different' as well. Ride it for as long as you can before passing judgment. Many on here have ridden for a short while and thought 'eh?' then gone on to ride for longer and thought 'now it makes sense'....:thumb2

Just been reading some of this gentleman's posts on the Buell forum from 2 years ago.
Remarkably similar to those one here........gets everyone going, never seems to meet anyone, always has a smart arse answer for everything, slags everything off, and everyone. Full time troll??? Shall we run a book on the possibility that this loser is in fact Stephen Hawking anyone?

I shall pick you up on that one, I ave met most of the peeps on UKBEG...and bloody nice people they are too.
I put my money where my mouth is, I upset people right enough, but I have the balls to present myself as well....So when I meet you if you tell me who you are and terll me to give you the finger I shall...I have to be told because I meet in excess of 10 people per week in my job.....My memory is shite and I am getting iold.

I look forward to a grown up discussion about the relative merits of GS ownership with you. As I alluded to though, you do seem a tad reclusive on the Buell forum, or is that just me?

Yes I am reclusive on the Buell Forum....That is because at the moment it is shite.....Too much politics and all that control shit.
Thank yourself very lucky that you have such a good/splendid/brilliant forum here....Don`t take it for granted, it can be withdrawn at any moment.

I suspect from many of the replies I have read from the Buell forum that your decision to remove yourself as a moderator came as a relief from many other contributors. I also suspect that underneath all this shit, you are a reasonably decent bloke. Prove me right in the face of a lot of hostility towards you. Go on........., I know that there's a potential good guy under that wanker's exterior. Make us believe that you do what you do is borne from a longing to have friends, and I am sure that many on this forum, unlike your previous "mates" will extend a hand to you and welcome you into the fellowship that is being a GS'er.

The reason this forum is so good is that it is self - policed by real people in the real world.

Certain things can make a forum lose stability quite easily.

At the moment one of those 'things' is YOU.

Your card is being marked, you're on report, if you like.

When the general populus of the forum start complaining about a certain participant ( i don't think you're quite a member yet ), then its time to give a shot across the bows. This is yours.

Take heed please, stop the swearing quite so much and stop acting the twat - its not big and its not clever.
Shouting your mouth off when you're drunk is easy, saying the wrong thing, -its all easily done.

...but fronting up the day after and holding your hand up to those people that are getting pissed off with you is the grown up thing.

Its worth another drunken night or two later on later on :thumb

Good points well made, but you may not have to go that far.

If folks are offended, or simply pee'd off with Mr Att i tude, then don't add to his threads or responses, people soon fizzly out that way. He'll soon get the message.;)
