Do not try to do flips with the car in front of you

I have been lucky with the vertebra. They "rescued" me from the crash site really well. The problem was identified immediately even when I didn't have any pain involved.
The solution for the vertebra it's been a kyphoplasty. They have introduced like a cement inside the vertebra and I can do everything I was doing before since the day after the medical intervention.

Thank you Old Croc

My daughter had the same when she fell off a horse. She also has a 'cage' fusing 3 vertebra. The kyphoplasty worked well and is an amazing procedure - good luck.

Thanks OldCroc. Hope your daughter is doing well as well

no probs

In Serbia it could be repaired no probs! Im serious, I saw a snapped drive shaft casing welded and then the certificate from the xray to say the weld was good!

10 out of 10 for style and artistic impression, good to hear the treatment is going well, I think it's game over for your Triple Black :comfort

Good news you are safe, bikes can be replaced :thumb2

I guess the south american trip is on hold for now..... although it does seem a slightly extreme method of justifying changing for the new GS!

Get well soon!

Stu.

the forks and the front subframe will be bent + loads of other bits.

it's a write off.

pity there's no film of the crash :P

Jeez :eek

Get well soon and hope you get the bike sorted one way or another...... I'm confused, Jordi is a Catalan name but you're in Madrid  whatever, buena suerte en El Clasico, Barca :beerjug:

Andres

Assuming it's fully insured, if it was mine I don't think I'd want it repairing.

Get well soon

Glad to hear you're healing well. And I think you showed great presence of mind to pop the sidestand down whilst flipping...

Just goes to show how well balanced these bikes are :augie

I think the front wheel will polish out nice and straight :D

Jon

now thats pretty damn impressive:eek

its good to hear your on the mend too , thats definitely a write off so you should be furnished with a shiny new one soon:beerjug:

Good to hear youre going to be OK Jordi, it could have been worse!

On the upside its a great picture!

Regards, Steve.

Get well soon with at vertebra. Unless you are lucky, dont wait for the NHS to get you to see a physiotherapist. They can do a great job but by the time most people get to see them its too late. As soon as you can, get to see a private physio, osteopath or chiropractor. They will all give good advice and appropriate treatment (as & when required etc).

PS While the forks may need some T Cut, ;) I thought the frame had a strut to the headstock that's intended to bend in a crash to reduce the risk of serious frame damage.
