.....need to be fitted on a bike for the MOT? Have taken mine off (temporarily :augie ) and have an MOT on Thursday but don't know where the peg pins are.

Anyone in the know?

You shouldn't have a problem without the footpegs - it's generally more of a problem with trail bikes where having footpegs means that you need mirrors, indicators, chainguard etc.

I suggest that you also take off the rear seat so there is no chance of the MOT station arguing that the bike is set up for 2 people, just so there is less chance of them being stroppy. If you've not done this before, there should be a little clip in the toolbox that fits into the toolbox lid, to hold it in place: without it, the lid could come loose on a bump, with embarrassing consequences,

Thanks Mate :thumb2

I have a TT lockable toolbox cover so will take the rear seat off 'just in case'.

Just thought I'd ask as the footpeg mounts look a little like they could do some damage should they come into contact with either my legs or some thing else.

Nope. My 05 gsa doesn't have rear footpegs and gets through the MOT. It also has a dual seat - its raised some eye brows by one tester but the consensus from following testers was that he was a cock.
