Better in paper format and they're dirt cheap, I have a full set and they cost around fifteen quid maybe a bit more now as I got mine about five years ago but still cheap at twice the price!

+1 Bought full set of maps for Norway this year studied before I left, placed in tank bag and didn't use most of them as some of the small roads and tracks were to small to show, the app shows where you are but does not auto scroll.
You can save locations too.
