Not a ideal situation but service has to be done and these lads helped me out.
Fingers crossed it stays fine as the bike is gleaming.

That’s a jaunt
Worthy of a trip report in it’s own right
That’s a 2-3 trip out

Looks like you’ll need to put your waterproofs on Doc, hope that you miss it though, tyatsxa lot of shiny to keep clean.

The Doc Shop down the road in Wollaston would probably be more his thing but it shut in 2022

Pretty sure the factory is still there but not been since FIL passed away, as he lived round the corner .
Dr Martens are rubbish now since made in Vietnam or wherever. Leather is paper thin and crap. They’re definitely not worth the premium price tag in my opinion. 🤔

………think Doc might be a Red Wing Iron Ranger guy?! 😬

And back home. Nice people too deal with.
Oil, filter, spark plugs, air filter, oil filter £147.02
Service £254.14
260 miles in petrol
Food £25
Jaynes purse = empty

Northampton is very famous for English leather footwear. Tricker’s supply the Royal Family for example.
Okay, I’ll shut up 😬

That’s very reasonable, I buy the genuine service kits and they are about £120 but that’s without spark plugs. It contains oil, filter and crush washers.

Cheaper than servicing one of them BMW things a lot of guys on here seem to be into.
