Move on to the next hotel today which is one minute up the road. Hopefully we can leave some gear there and have a look round the area today. Jayne wants to look at some old ruins. Not sure why as she has been laid next to one all night.
Anyway Fluffy ( the bike ) is still there this morning and probably been dreaming about Betsy @Hatcho ;)
And what is it with B&B 's now ? £135 quid to stop here and they want another £30 for breakfast. boils my piss

nope

you have not included this section https://maps.app.goo.gl/z9uH3bisWs9Yhm9J9 from Newtown to Crossgates down the marvellous A483

the rest of my recommended route was based around including this 22 miles of twisty, undulating road with a decent surface on an A class road so no nadgery bits.
It’s a great road
Love it on a bike
I fell off my bike a couple of weeks ago, going over Radnor Gate & still got the bruises (left leg got trapped under the rear subframe)

Was that your first faggot?

Stopped in Ironbridge on the way to the Plymouth ferry years ago, nice wee place, decent pint and bloody expensive bnb, Old Sheriffs House or something

Thirty quid for that! WTF

well, £15 each

this disease is spreading across Spain as well now. At least half of the hotels I used last May/June were charging extra for breakfast. Typically 10 to 15 euros but more in a Parador, usually 20 euros, although I often select the half board rate.

Yup for a croissant and ham & cheese. This is why we go out for breakfast and have a picnic out. Much better in our opinion.
