Doc does Spain with our lass

I am on my first beer today, had rain this morning, so the trails are nicely damp, so a couple of hours riding the trails with our kidder was good, no dust, but still requires beer afterwards and a pleasant 20c! It was 36c yesterday.

I am enjoying your Spanish adventure. :beerjug:

Watch out for Drones.

No idea myself. I blame the 🌞
Ferry day today and for the first time it's raining. Can't really complain though as the weather has been fantastic the whole trip.
Looks like you’ve made the most of your time in Spain . Would you go back ?

I would but the whole getting here is a pain. Once here though absolutely no complaints. It's a fantastic place to ride the bike. As for the scenery brilliant.
A few hours on the ferry beats a long motorway slog, I think it’s an easy way to get to a great area. Food, beer, varied entertainment and a long kip.

I think Chris means the long slog down from Slawit to Plymouth .
It’s a three day ride, FFS 😜

For an afternoon ferry I can do it in the same day, after all you have 24 hours to chill out on the ferry
I think that's what we would do next time. We are stopping over on the way home for a night. That was the plan for the way down but extended our trip to take in Wales.

And a damp San Sebastian this morning. Disgusting the rain didn't hold off .

If you get a late afternoon or teatime ferry berth from Portsmouth or Plymouth, then it’s easily doable from Yorkshire in a daytime day

Then you have a day to relax onboard

On the way back, if the the ferry arrives late in the afternoon or is delayed I book a night in Princetown on Dartmoor- about 30 mins from the terminal and then you have the next day to get home

Later in September we are coming into Portsmouth at 1.30-2pm and stopping over near Hay on Wye for the night on the way home

Yes, we used to do it in a oner and get home at 10pm …..but as you get older, why bother
