they make some excellent stuff now, including red wines such as this Dornfelder we drank on a river cruise from Bernkastel to Trabarn Tarbach. We had to have a second bottle on the way back. 15 euros from a boat bar was great value.

I had some of that cheap stuff, hock and Blue Nun in the late 70s at 6th form parties but then I went to university in 1981 and I was introduced to better quality German wine such as Oppenheimer Krotenbrunnen at departmental shindigs. Never drank hock etc after that.

We love it and have a little kitchen in the apartment with fridge so why not. Stocked up at supermarket this morning.

Hit some horrendous rain on the way back was lovely and cooling.
I’ve started taking wifey’s portable Phillips steamer with me on jaunts - handy wee fucker and fits anywhere. My skill level couldn’t do proper dress shirt, but great for shorts and tee shirts etcAnd this is why we have a big bike.
Aswell as the usual stuff.
Kettle
Travel iron
Hair dryer
Mirror
Flask
Ice pack plus cool bag.
2 x pots. Coffee, Dried milk
………..suppose Doc could probably fit ironing board in his setup though?! Lol

But then I could go out on the piss and tell our lass she has no excuses instead of doing it on the bed.
