First time this holiday we have awoken to rain. So a lazy start for a change deciding on what to do.
Waterproofs or a boat trip
Boat goes from Cochem to Beilstein. Done it before but it's out of the rain beer is provided and a nice meal in Beilstein. Although it might have to be coffee to keep the boss happy if it's this morning.

A stroll to the confluence of Moselle and Rhine is quite nice, a bit of history there too. I am sure there is more on offer doc was to have a little dig around online.
Doc, how about a train ride to Trier or even Luxembourg for a day if you never been, no need to worry about parking the bike and leaving it unattended. Jayne could do her tax free shopping in Luxembourg.

We took a train all the way to Sankt Goat in May. It was a doddle to achieve.

Boss not bothered about a train ride although we have been before.
How's the Indian vs your Harley?
Interesting Question.
Indian has been fantastic but so it should be for the money. Against my Harley I would say better in all departments. Power, suspension comfort.
Harley is easier to man handle than the Indian.
Could I have done this trip on the Harley absolutely but I have spent a lot of money getting it to were it should be in the comfort department when it should be like that from the beginning for a expensive bike that is classed a touring bike.
Would I have another Indian
No it will be another Harley.
So head says Indian but heart says Harley. Bikes work like that.
