Well done!
A salutary reminder of the good that is in most folk, and what this forum is really about!
Disappointed that you never managed scallops and bacon for breakfast, but there's always another day...travel safe home!
Shall be through King's Cross on another adventure next week!

Ahh yes, he missed the Billingsgate roll at Terry’s cafe .. Scallops, bacon, black pudding and a splodge of of brown sauce

Oh no, not Baldrick. Make sure he paid :D

@Doc You can’t complain about the cost of Friday night out, most of them were free :D

I have enjoyed this report, but there is a part of me that was yearning for you to be sold into the white slave trade and London was the only opportunity really, so since you have not being so, I have a tinge of sadness about me.

Glad you enjoyed watching all and sundry being stripped of their personal wealth and pretending it was all just fine and fucking dandy. (y)

Glasgow would work, as might York if you knew your way about

Or even Edinburgh.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. Easy to walk around, lots of historical stuff to see and a zillion pubs. Lots of foreigners there but the Scottish people that I encountered were some of the friendliest people that you could ever meet. Possibly a touch cheaper than London but not much in it.

Fuck that . Why not make it somewhere interesting like Stornoway ? 😜

For me and the mrs....Edinburgh has always felt too touristy whereas Glasgow felt gritty and real and all the better for it (Cue outrage from some...)
