silly one this, traveling to sth Ireland do i have to carry log book/all docs etc ??

docs

as in log book etc ?have they got to be the originals ,or can you use photo copies,?

Just asked my mate (Traffic cop on duty as we type :augie) your question and he replied that UK motorists are not required to carry the V5 with them. Your licence and a copy of your insurance are all you need. :thumb2 Oh and we are a happy go lucky group here in the republic as well. . . . . we dont want to see your tax disc or your mot cert !

wouldnt get into a fluster about any documents here , Its basically just the same as
U.K. You have 10 days to produce . Its very unlikely you will be asked for anything.
Photographic I.D. will do most . Photocopies are grand if you feel the Need.

the gardai , cant tell whether your Vehicle is taxed or insured as your Vehicle is
registered in a Foreign Country , so they dont have legitmate access to the Swansea
data base.

If i were you , i would be trying to get the MAX amount of €uro for your £GBP.
in a very recent transaction i got 38.5% .

NOW is an Excellent time to Buy €uro

Ohh ,, Most important of all Enjoy yersell
