Just got back from a trip to Applecross/Skye. Yesterday was pretty wet most of the day.Trying to put Applecoss in the GPS, under "Cities" heading, when all I got was a list of places in Iraq and Iran! As far as i know I only have the Uk loaded so how did I get the option of some sunnier places?
Also if I do a circular route, starting and finishing at the same place the SPIII can't seam to handle it and it just won't work.Is this a common problem?
Guess I will have to use a different finish to the route.

Easily explained Dave,

You have the Bush/Blair V2.0 Maps installed...

Re your circular route problem, have you tried putting in "Via Points" ? ;)

I can't find "Applecross" on my SP3 either, but at least I get a load of other British alternatives - nothing in Iran or Iraq.

Sorry Frisky, but "Applecross" is definately in there. The reason it didn't come up on mine, at the first attempt, was because I didn't have the Scottish maps saved to the card - to save space for the Lahinch trip. :blush

applecross

I'VE JUST SPENT SOME TIME IN SCOTLAND,PUNCHED IN APPLECROSS FROM INVERNESS AND FOUND IT IN NO TIME.MY MAP SETS WERE LOADED TO MY CARD AND ENABLED.
