Does a BMW Dealership know what error codes have appeared in the past?

Hi all,
I'm after some advice please..........
I am taking my brand new 2019 reg 1200 GS Rallye TE in for it's first 600mls service on Wednesday. During me clocking up the 590mls I have had two error codes come up on the TFT display, 1) after approx 400mls a Traction Control error, that cleared itself after I stopped the bike and turned off the ignition and turned it back on again, and, 2) a Low Oil warning saying stop the bike and check oil level, which I did and oil level was correct with no visible leakes on or around the engine. This warning self extinguished after a couple of miles and it did occur last Wednesday, the hottest day of the year.
My question is this...............do I have to tell the BMW Service dept about these two error codes or will they know that they have previously come up when (if) they plug my bike into their diagnostic equipment?

When they scan the vehicle it will show the time/ date and mileage at which any faults occured and they will remain within the ECU's memory until they are cleared using a diagnostic tool

It’s worth checking the TFT software version installed via the menu I had to have my new 1250 done at Marshall’s and it fixed my issues but beware it took over 6 hours lol.

Yep popping into the dealer for 15 minutes to upgrade and fix a software problem is a thing of the past for the TFT screen owners unfortunately, 3 hours minimum and apparently most of that 3 hour upgrade is for the screen not the bike, bit like updating your home computer or Nav6.

Why wouldn’t you want the dealer to see the codes ? Its your proof that the bike had faults should you require any repairs under the warranty. Indeed id be telling them the second i took bike in for service.

Apologies Delboy777, that's exactly what I will be doing. I just wanted to know if the software on my bike could be interrogated by the dealership to backup/confirm what I will be telling them tomorrow.
My fault for not explaining properly or in enough detail in my original post.

Your welcome, its a good thing that these “faults” are recorded so there is a trail that could help you out in any warranty claim. They are logged with bmw and prove what you are saying. My bike is in for its first service next week and afaik there should be no problem. Wonder how i can find out the tft software version, is it in the screen somewhere?

Go into the bike menu and it’s in settings then software

TFT screen is basically a mini computer running on Linux, their will be log files floating around for sure.....
 
Update:
So, had my first service (600mls) today and all went well. Bike checked over and all's well with no loose spokes. However, very interestingly, I mentioned to the Service department the two warnings I had received on the TFT screen re: the traction control & low oil warning and they said they could find no trace of them when my bike was plugged into their diagnostic equipment.........very strange............:confused:

Depends on who is using the computer............:rob
