.... Own and use Touratech Aventuro MOD Lid? I know it is same in terms of fitting as my Schuberth C3 Pro and is an improved and cheaper version of a Schuberth E1 Lid. My question is, how does it (and E1) compare in regards to ventilation versus C3 Pro? I wear glasses, so the problem I have with my now 3.5 year old C3 Pro is that in the rain my glasses will fog up, then then because of condensation build up within the lid my visor will fog up too, from then on I am forced to ride with visor slightly open. Meaning I get wet face and waterfall effect (distorted vision through the soaked pinlock) on the inside of the visor.

Because E1 And TT Aventuro MOD both feature extra vent on the front, does it improve the airflow into the helmet to prevent build up of condensation? I also noticed that both have a vent on the top but unlike C3 Pro, it doesn't have a slider to open or close it, TT Lid also seem to have extra two vents (in addition to goggle strap retaining clip) on the rear but I am not sure these are functional. Can someone please confirm this is actually working set of vents?

I am currently looking at buying new lid around March/April time with release of Schuberth C4 due in March. I do not want to rush and buy anything before I try C4 on. However there are 4 lids on my list: Schuberth C4 and E1, TT Aventuro MOD, Arai Tour X4, but this is my last choice as lack of sun visor and changing visors over isn't an option really. Other than that I like the lid.

I have one. I haven't used an E1 but the MOD is well ventilated. The top vent does slide, MOD has a rear exhaust vent and an extra chin vent. The extra venting and better colours were why I went with TT and not the Schuberth. Price was the same at the time.
