Does anyone get back pain riding the LC GS?

Assuming you have got the ergonomics of the bike sorted for you then I can highly recommend pilates. You won't see results quickly and sometimes won't feel as though you are 'exercising' but gradually you will notice a much more stable core. Do you heat and stretch after a ride?

This sounds to good to be true.
Adjust your seat on the highest setting at the front and lowest a the back.
Trust me I've been there.
If this doesn't work you may need bar risers (pull back ones) fitting as well as the seat adjustment.

This solution worked for me, although my pain was higher up, between my shoulders. The up and back risers made a huge difference; raising just the front of the seat led to all day, everyday comfort.

+1 for seat high at front and low at back. Together with the risers it seems to put my back in a much better posture.

Just got a GS rallye with the low rallye seat. Got back pain. Mainly in the middle of my back where I'm leaning forward.

I don't think that the Rallye seat can be used with different heights front and rear. I have just fitted the high version to my GSA Rallye and it only works with high front and low rear with no option to change. I would suggest trying a standard GS seat and take it from there...

Thanks for the advice. I don't really exercises much so that is probably the core problem (pun intended)

Getting a sargent seat off a good mate do that might be the solution.

Good to know. Otherwise probably spend hours trying to adjust something that doesn't

How very dare you call me a good mate, I’m taking the offer back :)

Seat height adjusted to high at the front sorted it. Thanks for all comments. Will look into Pilates next
