..I know I saw it once somewhere.

I have a 550 Zumo but I miss some of the features of my old BMW Navigator II. I like certain features in both and was thinking how it would be (apart from a very busy cockpit, that's for sure :) ). And where you would put them, s'pose that would be another matter.

Cheers,
Rob

At the moment I have my BMW Nav II (came with the bike) plus a TomTom Rider 2...

I don't use the TT headset, just the Autocom that the Nav II goes into...

I don't get on with the Nav II too well, but I don't want to take it off as it's got up to date Euro mapping...

i miss a lot of the customisable features of a Nav II if zumo didn't have the MP3 music feature i'd have kept the navII

More than one

On my 12ADV I have the 2610 mounted on the screen support, and the V :thumb2 on the handlebars, mainly as a tripcomputer.

That sums it up exactly :thumb2

Thanks for the feedback all- Think I will look to get them both onboard. Given the configuration at the moment anyone got any suggestions as to how to mount- or know/suggest of any suitable brackets? (or where best to look for them would help too). Garmin Zumo bracket in place as shown here adjacent to Touratech furry dice ;)

I always use a Rino 520Hcx and a quest1.....zoomed in at different levels but both running the same routes and mapping.

Both are mounted on RAM mounts and the quest is bike powered (I get 24 hours out of the Rino so no prob there)

Very handy to have two for off-road trip leading :thumb2

Hey there Rob ... how's ya doing :pullface

I use a Navigator III+ for main navigation, and a Quest (off eBay) as back up

Since my Nav II got jet washed in Siberia by the Bernaul Bikers and I ended up navigating through Mongolia with a good ol' Silva walking compass, I revel in the luxury of a back up.

T'other reasons are ...

World map in to the Quest when outside Europe :thumb
Topo Maps of Morocco when down there last year
Topo Maps of Snowdonia when walking with the dawg :JB
Find my way back to the hotel with the Quest when in far off lands :rob
Because I can :blagblah

Take care ol' son :beerjug:

By jove, Mr W- how the devil are you. Best to have a back-up where you'll be going   :drool :D :jibber

That looks to be the ticket exactly as you have on the centre of the bars there. Now think I should get onto the mounts page and follow up on there- Mr Ram man perhaps.

Cheers! :beerjug:
