Has anyone used an Air Hawk for a R1200GS Adventure pillion seat?

If so, what size of Air Hawk did you use?

Was your pillion satisfied with the comfort?

I'm looking at making the pillion seat more comfortable without the more expensive trial and error method of buying pillion seats.

I have not used an Airhawk on the GS but I had a rider and pillion set on my Blackbird for a trip around Europe. My wife broke her coccyx about 2 months before we went by being a clumsy cow. Got her an Airhawk and we did 550 on the first day with no problems. So they get my vote.
As far as sizing goes the website recomendations are about right.:thumb2

Cruiser Medium

Cruiser Medium is the size you want.
This is the perfect size for both seats so you get to use it yourself when the missus stays at home. HTH :thumb

Thanks for the responses. I suppose the recommendation is buy the 11" Deep x 9" Wide cruiser pillion vice 14" Deep x 11" Wide cruiser pillion.

On a related note, it appears that FreedomAir doesn't have a pillion cushion. http://www.longerride.com/

I tried one with my Mrs and she tolerated slightly longer rides, but ultimately the solution was a different seat (Wonderlich Comfort Seat) and a footpeg lowering kit.

The footpeg kit completed the solution as it moved the pressure point away from the coxyx which helped alot.

Standard seat with airhawk allowed about an hour of riding before needing to stop.

New seat with lowered footpegs allows for 3-4 hours between stops.
