Well you're close on the Swingarm, but no cigar baby :D:D:D Let's just say it's in my posession already :drool:drool:drool

Gonna be in the garage at the weekend stripping and having a look. It'll take a couple of weeks to sort at least, but this is gonna be a beaut :thumb

Chuffin eck, the bikes in a million pieces, I can't get the exhaust off, I found the throttle cable was down to a single thread, I've spent a fortune on yummy bars and clamps etc etc and I need to buy new brake pads, steering bearings and, and, and aaaaaargh, there's just a list as long as my arm :D:D:D

It's all exciting stuff though:thumb

Oh Ok, you bought Colt's Touratech billet swinging are then did you?

Mate you should be taking progress pics and posting them or is it a bit cloak and dagger just in case.:bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

I can't use the garage in the week at nights as the no electrickery :(:(:(:(

Head bearings arrive today, picking wifeys Boxster up tomorrow, but should get something done on Sunday. Will post pics then :eek::eek:

My bikes in bits :eek::eek::eek:

Some serious pain in the arse bling!!!!

Mated up the swingarm and the shock, just about to fit the suspension linkage and one of the bearings self destructed :blast:blast:blast

I've also noticed there are no mounts for a chain guard (which is a legal requirement :blast:blast:blast So verns going to weld some on for me :JB

Syco is currently sorting the suspension linkage for me and TT are delivering some final (very expensive bits), so I reckon 3-4 weeks to finish.

Anybody contemplating anything like this, I would suggest selling ya bike and buying a KTM :D:D:D

Howdy chap
Bout time for some more update pics dont ya think!!! Hope its all going to plan.:comfort

Errrrrrrr NO!!!

Vern has the swingarm for a bit of modification for road legalness, my bro has the suspension linkage for new bearings, so I'm left doing noting right now :blast:blast:blast

Still waiting on some bits from TT too :blast:blast:blast

Nah, Phil's now a VIP..................they're bringing the new parts to him:augie

What's VIP stand for though Johnny Very Idiotic Phil :blast:blast:blast

I wouldn't do the TT event personally, not my bag. Although I do have a set of TT panniers for the wee beastie now :thumb
