Dominator exhaust on R1100GS.

Im thinking of getting a new exhaust on my GS, and found a dominator (polish brand…… )
has anybody tried this one?

Its to pricy in norway to get some of the other known brand.. so i am browsing the e-bay and found a dominator there for a OK price..

Or some other ideas

My friend has one on his R1100RS and loves it

Build quality is good

Delivery was prompt and well within specified dates given

A friend has one on his R1100RT.

It sounds farty and horrible and he has had to do a lot of fettling to make it not leak.

If you get one it would be good to hear your experiences.

There are no rules for getting "birthday" gifts the only thing to remember is keeping the value of the gift lower then 20 pund included postage and insurance…..

If some of you are up for that, i´d be super happy
also, if someone have one used, i´d could maybe bye from some here on the forum…..

1000KR or £100 is the upper limit for gifts into Norway, just make sure there is no invoice in the box
Dominator are not the best on the market but quality would appear to be as good as the LeoVinci cans.

Thought it was a little more then 1000kr. But if no invoice on the pack/gift, how can customs check it. Open the gift and sett a value on it??

if they inspect the parcel and it has an invoice, they do not except it is a gift as presents dont normally have a price tagg

I had one delivered today and started to fit it. There is no way the connector pipe is for a 1100gs so could not get it to fit correctly.The silencer hung too low and would not be able to get panniers on.I have a connector pipe from another aftermarket silencer so had to cut this down.Managed to get the bloody thing on and started the bike,it is very loud! It arrived on time however. Not sure it will be a good buy but have yet to use it on the road so I will reserve judgment.

By the sound of it he fitted one for an RT rather than a GS
