Donations wanted for Camping shelter for tossers

I want to buy a shelter like this one for the tosser camp out events.
We do have a se section family tent but TBH its over kill.
Anyone fancy chipping in?
 
Laudable idea, but wouldn't stringing up three or four tarps do the job:confused:
 
it just seems easier

Its brighter, taller,and would make an excellent party tent in case it pishes down,Thats what i thought anyway.

My wife tells me someone left £20 for the rave tent, but had a senior moment and forgot his name...anyone?

Paul, regarding the shelter.
Have you thought of getting one with sides in it, windows, kitchen cooking area with ventilation and a strong frame so as to withstand the weather?
 
I'm sure I could do £20 as well if I save my pocket money till september

Have you seen anthing of interest?I was to have a look for a party tent, i dont want anything as heavy as the frame tent we have.
I'll have a surf and keep you posted.

Now that there will be a rave tent......should it be officially opened @ the Sept Camp, with the cutting of a ribbon n stuff?

Was just a dig at the current canvas tent you have :augie
Thing with the big party tents is there are a lot poles (the metal type and not the plumbing/building version) so if this were the case you would be better off with your canvas - apart from having to dry it out.
