Err... no they won’t. Riding spikes is closer to riding dirt (not sand) than riding on tarmac. Latter is grippiest. UNTIL the point of the start of the slide when spikes maintain (almost) equal grip to normal, whereas tarmac slides more. Perhaps thats what you meant.
